San Francisco, CA — Starting tonight, Golden Gate Park will host free outdoor movie screenings every Saturday through the summer. The program, called “Movies in the Park,” kicks off with a showing of The Princess Bride at Robin Williams Meadow.
Families and friends gathered with blankets and picnic baskets to enjoy the warm evening and community atmosphere. “It’s a wonderful way to bring people together and celebrate our parks,” said Parks and Recreation Director Phil Ginsburg.
Future screenings will include classics like E.T. and Jurassic Park.
