San Francisco, CA — The city’s annual Juneteenth Parade and Festival brought vibrant energy to the Fillmore District today, celebrating African American culture and the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States.
The parade featured floats, marching bands, and dance troupes, followed by a festival with live performances, food vendors, and educational exhibits. “Juneteenth is a time to honor our history and build community,” said organizer Harold Thomas.
The event continues tomorrow with workshops and family-friendly activities.
