San Francisco, CA — The city’s first zero-waste marketplace opened today in Hayes Valley, offering sustainable products and bulk goods to eco-conscious shoppers. Customers are encouraged to bring their own containers and reusable bags.
The market, called GreenLoop SF, is a public-private initiative to promote sustainability and reduce plastic waste. “We want to make sustainable living accessible and convenient,” said co-founder Laura Kim.
GreenLoop SF also features workshops on composting and reducing household waste.
