San Francisco Public Library Debuts AI-Powered Literacy Program
San Francisco, CA – The San Francisco Public Library launched a cutting-edge literacy program today, using AI to tailor reading and writing lessons for students and adults. The initiative offers personalized feedback and progress tracking through an interactive app available at all library branches.
“This program brings innovation to education and ensures everyone has access to learning tools,” said Library Director Emma Liu. The project, funded by state and private grants, is expected to reach thousands of residents.
Patrons praised the program’s user-friendly design. “It’s like having a tutor in your pocket,” said student Alex Hernandez. The library plans to expand the app’s features to include language learning later this year.
