San Francisco School District Pilots AI-Driven Classroom Tools
San Francisco, CA – The San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) introduced a pilot program today to integrate AI-driven tools into classrooms, enhancing learning experiences for students. The tools include AI tutors, customized lesson plans, and virtual labs for STEM education.
“Technology is a powerful tool for leveling the playing field in education,” said SFUSD Superintendent Clara Ramirez. The program is being tested in 10 schools and aims to close achievement gaps while preparing students for future careers.
Parents and educators have expressed optimism about the initiative. “This could be a game-changer for how our kids learn,” said Mission parent Ana Lopez. The program’s success will be evaluated at the end of the school year before potential citywide adoption.
