Referred to by music critics as the “Queen of Neo-Soul,” Erykah Badu has been blending R&B, soul, and hip-hop influences into her art since arriving on the scene in the late 1990s. The four-time Grammy Award-winning singer has evolved with the times, bringing a regal sensibility to both music and fashion.
Badu has collaborated with artists such as Tyler, The Creator, Flying Lotus, and D’Angelo over the years, churning out a total of five studio albums in addition to participating in other artists’ projects. She recently won the Fashion Icon Award at the 2024 Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards. Last year, she embarked on the Unfollow Me Tour, making stops in Oakland and Sacramento.
Now, she’s back in the Bay Area, this time showing some love to San Francisco, where she’s set to play a show at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on November 16th.
