Born and raised in the Bay Area, Jose Luis Sanchez III began his writing journey in 2016. He initially contributed to the school newspaper at Skyline College, where he reported on various sports teams within the region. This early experience helped him cultivate a deep passion for sports journalism.

Between 2017 and 2019, Sanchez expanded his expertise as a contributor for FanSided. He covered teams such as the Las Vegas Raiders and various professional sports franchises in the Bay Area through their sites Just Blog Baby and Golden Gate Sports.

Sanchez joined FanNation in 2019, first taking on the role of lead publisher for All49ers, where he showcased his skills in sports writing and digital media. His talent led to a promotion in 2020, becoming the Deputy Editor. In this role, he not only produces engaging written content but also curates video content to reach a wider audience.
