Disney+ now has a new ESPN tile and hub. It will serve as the destination for ESPN+ streaming sports content, giving subscribers access to sports, general entertainment, and children’s and family programming all within one app.
This seamless, integrated viewing experience is available to subscribers of the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle in the US.
“This launch caps an incredible year of innovation for Disney+,” said Alisa Bowen, president of Disney+. “Earlier this year, we made Hulu available on the Disney+ app, and now we’re doing the same with ESPN+, giving bundle subscribers the ability to get everything they love from all brands in one place. will be available.”
John Lasker, senior vice president of ESPN+, explains that fans will experience an immediate difference.
“Bundle subscribers can expect 5,000 live events in their first 90 days, including the NFL, NBA, NHL, college basketball and the Australian Open,” he said. Also new originals from 30 for 30 and ESPN Original Series.
ESPN+ gives you access to more than 30,000 live sports events a year, including games and events from MLB, WNBA, college sports, tennis, golf, and more, plus a library of on-demand replays, top-rated original content, and studio programming. Standalone Disney+ subscribers have access to select live sports events, studio shows, and ESPN Movies on ESPN+, as well as a curated collection of TV series and movies on Hulu.
According to ESPN+, this includes some exciting and unique events taking place in the coming weeks. Examples include “The Simpsons Fun Day Football” animated Monday Night Football game, Christmas Day lineup of five NBA games and “Dunk the Holes” animated NBA presentation (30 picks). 30 documentaries and coverage of the first day of the Australian Open.
