49ers players to watch
DE Leonard Floyd will return to Buffalo for the first time since leaving the Bills as a free agent and signing with the 49ers in March. Floyd only had three sacks in the first nine games of the season, but he has been playing his best ball of late with 3 1/2 sacks in the past two games. Floyd had 10 1/2 sacks last season, his only year in Buffalo.

WR Amari Cooper. A left wrist injury and getting used to the playbook have limited the 30-year-old to seven catches for 124 yards and one touchdown in three games since being acquired in a trade with Cleveland on Oct. 15. . After taking more than a month to build chemistry with Josh Allen, Cooper is finally in a position to reach his full potential.

Niners RB Christian McCaffrey vs. Bills run defense. Buffalo showed major signs of improvement a month after allowing 271 yards to Derrick Henry and the Ravens, forcing the Chiefs into a corner by limiting their ground game to 78 yards. McCaffrey and the 49ers’ usually solid run game still hasn’t gotten off the ground, with last season’s Offensive Player of the Year limited to 149 yards rushing and 132 yards receiving. He has yet to score a TD in three games this season.
