The Tigers started the year with three straight double-digit wins, defeating Charleston Southern, St. Francis Penn and Eastern Kentucky. Clemson’s first loss came in Game 4 against Boise State, but the Tigers bounced back with a win against Radford.
In Thursday’s game against the Highlanders, Clemson went on a 38-26 run in the first half and led 41-25 in the second half for a 79-51 victory. Chauncey Wiggins led the team with 16 points, and Dillon Hunter added 15 points in 23 minutes.

The Dons got off to a good start with four consecutive wins. At the time, San Francisco beat Cal State, Boise State, Long Beach State, and Chicago State. However, they lost Game 5 to Memphis.
The Dons, who faced Memphis on Thursday, held a 31-22 advantage by intermission. However, San Francisco trailed 46-33 the rest of the way and lost 68-64. Malik Thomas was the only team player to score in double figures with 25 points.

San Francisco vs Clemson Prediction
I’ll probably go here in San Francisco. However, the Dons are coming off a tough second half against a very good Memphis team and will need a big comeback on Monday. In the loss to the Tigers, San Francisco shot just 32.8 percent overall and 21.4 percent (6-of-28) from 3-point range. It was the first time all year that the Dons failed to score at least 82 points.
As for Clemson, they continue to put up a solid effort against a Radford team that is pretty good for their level. The Tigers shot 51 percent from the floor, had 36 rebounds and had 12 team assists in the game. Clemson has scored at least 71 points in every game thus far. San Francisco needs to step on the gas on offense to keep up the cover/win pace, but I think the Dons can pull it off if all goes well.
