Now, customers can fill up a personal water bottle at no cost while shopping. For those wanting to fill larger jugs, a small service fee helps cover maintenance and filter replacements. But what started as a small add-on has become a powerful extension of the store’s mission.
“Customers come in weekly to fill their containers,” Tammi shares. “And when they’re here, they’re discovering all the other amazing items that we have here and they’re shopping… getting their seasonal produce. So it’s definitely helped the business and, from my perspective, it’s helping our community be healthier in all ways.”
During our conversation, it was clear how deeply Tammi feels about this offering. Not only does it feel good to provide clean, accessible water, it also feels good knowing that every time someone shops, they’re supporting over 100 local farmers and producers. In that way, offering Kangen Water at the store isn’t just about hydration. It has become a ripple effect for economic and ecological health.
