San Francisco, CA – The city has partnered with a local tech firm to launch a pilot program using drones for emergency response. The drones, equipped with cameras and medical kits, will be deployed in the Marina District to assist with minor incidents and gather real-time data for first responders.
“This is about leveraging technology to save lives,” said Fire Chief Alex Ramirez. The program aims to reduce response times but has raised privacy concerns among residents, prompting city officials to emphasize strict data-use policies.
