San Francisco, CA — The city launched an expansion of its “SF Wi-Fi” program today, bringing free internet access to underserved neighborhoods, including Bayview, Excelsior, and Visitacion Valley. The initiative aims to bridge the digital divide and improve connectivity for residents.
“Access to reliable internet is a necessity, not a luxury,” said Mayor London Breed. “This program ensures everyone has the tools they need to thrive in a digital world.”
The expansion includes 50 new hotspots and plans to add more in the coming months.
