San Francisco Celebrates Opening of Waterfront Winter Market
San Francisco’s Waterfront Winter Market opened today at Pier 39, featuring artisan vendors, festive food stalls, and seasonal entertainment. The market, which will run through New Year’s Eve, is part of the city’s effort to drive tourism and support local businesses during the holiday season.
“This market brings a unique blend of holiday cheer and local culture,” said Pier 39 Manager Emily Tran. Highlights include live caroling, ice sculptures, and a wine and cider garden overlooking the bay.
Attendees praised the market’s family-friendly atmosphere and diverse offerings. Organizers expect the event to draw over 100,000 visitors, providing a much-needed boost for vendors and nearby businesses.
