San Francisco, CA — A new ferry service connecting the Ferry Building to Angel Island launched today, offering residents and tourists a faster and more convenient way to access the popular state park.
The service features hourly departures, eco-friendly vessels, and bike-friendly accommodations. “Angel Island is a treasure, and this service will make it easier than ever to enjoy its beauty,” said WETA Chairwoman Nina Rannells.
The ferry is part of a broader effort to improve public access to the Bay’s recreational areas.
