San Francisco, CA — A dazzling new art installation debuted on Salesforce Tower tonight, transforming the city’s tallest building into a giant light canvas. Created by artist Leo Villareal, the installation uses thousands of LED lights to display dynamic patterns and animations visible across the Bay Area.
The installation, called Lumina SF, is part of the city’s ongoing public art initiative and will run nightly from sunset to midnight. “It’s about bringing art to everyone, creating a shared experience,” Villareal said.
Residents gathered along the Embarcadero to watch the inaugural display, which drew widespread admiration.
