Massive Fire at Pier 39 Prompts Investigation

San Francisco, CA – A massive fire broke out at Pier 39 late last night, causing extensive damage to several businesses and tourist attractions. Firefighters worked through the night to control the blaze, which erupted around 11:45 PM and took nearly six hours to extinguish.
No injuries were reported, but several iconic shops and restaurants suffered significant damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation, with preliminary reports suggesting an electrical fault. “It’s devastating to see this happen to such a beloved part of the city,” said Fire Chief Alex Ramirez.
City officials have pledged to support affected businesses and expedite repairs to reopen the pier as soon as possible.
