San Francisco, CA — Hundreds gathered at the Presidio’s National Cemetery today for the city’s annual Memorial Day ceremony. The event featured a wreath-laying ceremony, a 21-gun salute, and speeches honoring those who gave their lives in service to the nation.
“Today, we remember the sacrifices of those who fought for our freedoms,” said retired Major General Michael Harper, who delivered the keynote address.
The event concluded with a flyover by the California Air National Guard, leaving attendees moved and reflective.
