San Francisco, CA — A state-of-the-art Marine Life Rehabilitation Center officially opened today at Pier 39, providing care for injured or stranded marine animals in the Bay Area. The facility features specialized tanks and veterinary equipment to treat sea lions, otters, and other species.
“This center is a crucial resource for protecting the wildlife that makes our Bay so special,” said Marine Mammal Center Director Dr. Susan Albright.
The center will also host educational programs for visitors, highlighting conservation efforts and ways to protect marine ecosystems.
