San Francisco, CA – A large-scale cleanup and beautification project for the Mission District was launched today by the city in partnership with local nonprofits. The $12 million initiative will focus on graffiti removal, sidewalk repairs, and adding green spaces.
“This project is about restoring pride in one of our most vibrant neighborhoods,” said Supervisor Joaquin Torres. Residents welcomed the move, though some called for more investment in addressing homelessness in the area.
