San Francisco, CA — The 67th annual San Francisco International Film Festival began tonight with the premiere of The Bay Lights, a locally produced drama highlighting stories from the city’s diverse communities.
The festival, held at the Castro Theatre and other venues, will showcase over 200 films from around the world. “This year’s lineup reflects the power of storytelling to connect and inspire,” said festival director Eva Chen.
The event runs through July 7, featuring Q&A sessions with directors and workshops for aspiring filmmakers.
