San Francisco, CA — Firefighters successfully contained a massive fire that broke out in a warehouse in Potrero Hill early this morning. The blaze, which started around 2 AM, sent plumes of smoke over the city but caused no injuries.
Officials said the fire was under control by 6 AM, thanks to the efforts of over 50 firefighters. “Their swift action prevented the fire from spreading to nearby buildings,” said Fire Chief Jeanine Nicholson.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
